Jubilee Bracelets: The Watch Link in Silver, Gold and Rose Gold

Sort by

A jubilee bracelet — five rows of links side by side, narrow rows flanking the broader ones — is the watch link worn as a bracelet in its own right. No dial, just the band: a sleek, closed link that sits flat around your wrist.

Why this style works

The links are short and set closely together, so the bracelet moves with you and has no sharp edges. That makes it more comfortable over a long day than a chunky link bracelet. The flat top surface gives one continuous band of shine instead of scattered highlights.

Wearing it with a watch

Wear it on the opposite wrist rather than alongside your watch. Two similar links compete for attention, and metal rubbing against metal all day scratches both.

Material

These models are made from solid stainless steel. The silver-coloured jubilee is bare polished steel with no coating: nothing can wear through, the colour does not change and wear leaves no lighter patch, so you can keep it on in the shower. The gold and rose gold versions are finished in five layers of PVD; that bonded finish is harder than ordinary plating, which counts on a bracelet whose links rub against each other all day. It is still a layer, so those two come off before the shower and the gym. None of the three goes into the pool, because chlorine is harsher than shower water. And steel is not silver, so a silver polishing cloth has no job here.
