An iced out ring stands out without you having to wear a chain or bracelet. Because a ring sits in a different place, it stands on its own in your overall look, so you can combine it without overdoing it.

Choosing your size

Measure a ring you already wear and take the inner diameter in millimeters. Our ring sizes 7 through 11 are US sizes; we do not carry half sizes. Look your measured inner diameter up in the ring size chart. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. A wide set ring passes over your knuckle less easily than a slim band.

Wear

A ring takes more knocks than any other piece of jewelry, and on set models the edges of the setting can suffer from that. Take it off for sport and DIY. Both rings are stainless steel: the silver-colored one is bare, polished steel with no coating and can stay on in the shower, the gold-colored one carries a five-layer PVD finish and comes off before the shower and the gym. Take both off before swimming.

How do I determine my ring size?

Our ring sizes are US sizes, 7 to 11, and there are no half sizes. Wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where it closes and measure the circumference in millimeters, then look that up in our ring size chart. A wide set ring passes over the knuckle less easily, so if you are between two sizes take the larger one: forcing a tight ring over the knuckle is hard on the edges of the setting.

Can I combine it with an iced out chain?

Yes, and this is the exception to the rule. A ring sits in a different place and therefore counts separately in the overall look, unlike a set chain and bracelet side by side, which do compete for attention.

Will the stones come loose with everyday wear?

Which stones are used?

Cubic zirconia: a clear, hard stone that returns a lot of white light. If you want a stone that stays clear over the years instead of turning milky, have a look at moissanite.

How do I clean a set ring?

Brush the setting gently with lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush. On a ring, soap builds up faster than on other jewelry, simply because you wash your hands all day.
