What makes the Cuban link different
Where most links are round, a Cuban link is finished flat. That keeps it from tilting, so it stays the way it should, with a continuous surface of shine instead of separate points of light. The wider the link, the heavier the effect.
Which width?
For every day, 3 to 5 mm is the width that stands on its own without drawing too much attention. From 7 mm a Cuban is a statement, and iced out from 6 to 10 mm catches the light from every angle. For the iced out Cuban, most buyers choose 10 mm for the chain and 8 mm for the bracelet.

Materials and widths
In 925 sterling silver the Cuban chain comes in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm and the bracelet in 4 mm. In stainless steel, silver-tone and gold-tone, the chain and bracelet come in 3, 5 and 7 mm. In 18K gold plated on 925 silver in 5 mm. Iced out, with cubic zirconia on copper alloy, in 6, 8 and 10 mm, and with moissanite on 925 silver in 12 mm. A Cuban set
Chain, bracelet and ring in the same color make a set. Keep the bracelet as wide as the chain or narrower, for example a 7 mm chain with a 5 mm bracelet, and wear the ring on the hand without your watch. One iced out piece per set is enough; keep the rest plain.
