The right chain to go with it

Choose a narrow, quiet link so the pendant sets the tone — a box chain or a narrow king's link works best for that. A set pendant on a set chain becomes too much.

At 50 cm the pendant hangs around your collarbones, at 55 to 60 cm in the middle of your chest. A heavier pendant is more comfortable on a slightly longer chain.
