Men's Bracelets
Men's bracelets in stainless steel, 925 sterling silver and 18K gold plated, from a fine 2.5 mm king's link bracelet to a 12 mm iced out Cuban link, in wrist sizes from 16 to 22 cm (6.3 to 8.7in). Want a necklace to go with it? You will find the same links among the men's necklaces. The complete overview by link and material is in all bracelets.
Which link?
The king's link bracelet is densely woven, does not stretch and lies flat around the wrist: 2.5 mm in 925 silver and 18K gold plated, 5 mm and a 6 mm Byzantine variant in stainless steel. The Cuban link bracelet has flat, wide links that sit tight, in 3, 5 and 7 mm stainless steel, 4 mm 925 silver and 5 mm 18K gold plated. Rope (3 mm) and figaro (3 and 5 mm) are the finer choices next to a watch. The 10 mm jubilee bracelet is a five-row watch link with a folding clasp that closes flat.
Iced out and tennis
If you want the bracelet to catch the light, choose an iced out bracelet: Cuban link in 6, 8 and 10 mm, honeycomb in 7 mm, tennis in 3 and 5 mm or the tennis cluster in 10 and 12 mm. These models are made on nickel-free copper alloy with five layers of PVD, because copper can be worked more finely than steel, so the settings close tightly around every stone. The 5 mm moissanite tennis bracelet and the 12 mm moissanite Cuban link are the exception: those are set in 925 sterling silver.
The right size
Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone and add 1.5 to 2 cm (0.6 to 0.8in), then choose the size closest above that. Most link bracelets come in 18, 20 and 22 cm (7.1, 7.9 and 8.7in); rope and figaro start at 16 cm (6.3in). A tennis or iced out bracelet may sit a little looser, so it turns with your wrist and the stones keep catching the light from a different angle. The details per width and wrist size are in which bracelet for which wrist.
Material
A bracelet rubs against sleeves and table edges all day, so the material matters more here than on a necklace. Silver-colored stainless steel is bare, polished steel with no coating: it does not discolor, no tarnish builds up and you can keep it on in the shower. The gold and rose gold tones on stainless steel are a five-layer PVD finish, harder than ordinary plating but still a coating, so take those bracelets off before the shower and the gym. 925 sterling silver is a solid precious metal with a 925 stamp on the clasp; it tarnishes slowly and a silver cloth removes that. The 18K gold plated bracelets have a 2.5 micron gold layer on 925 silver. Take every model off before swimming, because chlorine is harsher than shower water.
