Cuban Bracelet Collection
A Cuban link bracelet is the wrist version of the Cuban chain: flat, interlocking links that sit around your wrist like a closed band. Because it does not tilt, the shine stays continuous and it sits quietly.
The right size
Measure your wrist with a tape measure or a strip of paper, just below the wrist bone, and add 1.5 to 2 cm. With a wide Cuban bracelet it is better to err on the roomy side: too tight and it will press on your wrist bone.
Width and combining
Narrower models sit next to a watch without competing for attention. Wider models are a statement in themselves and are best worn on their own. If you want the bracelet and chain as a set, choose the same width and color.
Material and wear
A bracelet rubs against sleeves and tabletops, so wear matters more here than on a necklace. Silver-coloured stainless steel is bare, polished steel: no coating that can wear through and no tarnish, so wiping it with a dry cloth is enough and the bracelet can stay on in the shower. The gold-coloured steel models and the stone-set models on nickel-free copper alloy carry a five-layer PVD finish — harder than ordinary plating, but still a coating, so take those off before the shower and the gym. 925 sterling silver feels heavier and tarnishes slowly; a silver cloth takes that off again. The pool is off for every model, because chlorine is harsher than shower water.
