The jubilee link is made of five rows side by side, with narrow links flanking the broader ones. That makes the bracelet 10mm wide and completely flexible, so it folds around the wrist instead of sitting on it like a stiff band. The base is stainless steel, polished to a silver tone; there is no coating on it that can wear through.

Why a Jubilee Link Wears Differently
Where a Cuban or king's link is made of separate, thick links, the jubilee is built from many small elements. That gives you two things: the bracelet lies flat on your wrist without tilting, and light breaks on dozens of small faces at once instead of on a few large ones. The result is a finer, calmer shine that is noticed without shouting. The fold-over clasp closes flush, so there is no thick lobster sitting under your wrist.
Five Rows of Links With No Coating That Can Come Off
On a jubilee dozens of links move against each other constantly, and that is exactly where a finish takes the hardest wear. This bracelet has no finish: the silver color is the polished steel itself. That is why wear leaves no lighter patch the way it would on a gold-tone bracelet, where the coating thins and the steel underneath starts to show. It does not get more practical than that.
18, 20 or 22 cm
Measure your wrist and add about 1.5 cm: 18 cm (7.1 in) for a narrower wrist, 20 cm (7.9 in) for most and 22 cm (8.7 in) if you want to wear it looser. A fold-over clasp cannot be adjusted the way a lobster with an extension chain can, so measuring pays off more here than on an ordinary link bracelet. If you fall between two sizes, go up.
Care
You can keep this bracelet on in the shower and at the gym. That works here because silver-tone steel is bare steel with no coating; the gold- and rose-gold-tone jubilee does have a coating, and that one you take off for sport and DIY. The pool is the exception: take it off before you get into chlorinated water. Rinse it under the tap after seawater or chlorine. You will never need silver polish, because no tarnish forms of the kind you get on real silver. To freshen it up, lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft toothbrush are enough; there is more dirt between five rows of links than you would think.
