Iced-Out Necklace Collection

An iced out chain is set with stones along its full length, so that hardly any metal stays visible. The most outspoken piece you can wear.

What to look for

The setting makes the difference. Stones should sit tightly beside one another with no visible space between them — those gaps give away cheap work and trap dirt as well, which makes the chain look dull sooner.

Wear one statement

Do not combine an iced out chain with an iced out bracelet. One set piece per outfit, the rest plain — otherwise the effect loses its force. For that, look at the smooth links in king's link chains or Cuban link.

Care

This is where the most is to be gained. Brush the settings gently now and then with lukewarm water and a soft toothbrush; soap under the stones is by far the most common cause of dull sparkle.
