Iced Out Cross Bracelet Silver With Coloured Stones (15mm) That Catches Light Across Your Whole Wrist
A broad iced out band of 15mm in which crosses and coloured stones alternate, set all the way round. Because the surface is so wide, the bracelet catches light across the full width of your wrist instead of along a single line. The silver-tone finish is applied in five layers of PVD.

Colour Works Differently on a Wrist Than at the Neck
A chain hangs still on your chest; a wrist moves all day. The coloured stones therefore keep coming back into view and you see the pattern rather than one flat sheet of sparkle. Colour also makes a broad iced out piece more wearable: where 15mm of white stones alone quickly reads as one block of light, the alternation gives the eye structure and the whole thing looks considered rather than simply maximal.
The Crosses in the Band, Not Hanging From It
Unlike a cross on a chain, the symbols here are embedded in the surface. They do not hang loose, do not turn and always stay upright. On a bracelet that is more practical than it sounds: there is nothing to catch behind a sleeve or end up facing backwards.
18 or 20 cm
Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone and add about 2 cm: below 16.5 cm take 18 cm, above that 20 cm. On a broad set band you want it slightly loose rather than tight, because at 15mm the settings press against your skin as soon as there is no slack left. Too loose is not a problem here: the bracelet then turns with your wrist, and that is exactly what makes the coloured stones light up in turn.
Why a Copper Alloy and Not Stainless Steel
At 15mm there are hundreds of small settings in this bracelet, each holding a stone. Copper can be worked more finely than stainless steel, so those settings sit tightly together and almost no metal stays visible between the stones. On steel you do not get that density, which is why virtually every serious iced out piece is built on a copper base. Copper is also denser than hollow steel, and at this width you feel it straight away: the bracelet lies heavy on your wrist rather than tinny.
Five Layers of PVD, and Why That Counts on a Wrist
The silver colour is applied with PVD, physical vapour deposition: the material is bonded at molecular level inside a vacuum chamber rather than laid on galvanically, at Carpe Ice in five layers. That makes the finish considerably harder and more scratch-resistant than an ordinary coating. On a cool silver tone that counts double, because a worn spot would otherwise show immediately as a warmer undertone. The alloy underneath is nickel-free.
Keeping It Sparkling
A copper alloy is more sensitive to moisture than steel, so this is a piece for going out rather than for the gym. Take the bracelet off before showering, swimming and training, apply fragrance and hand cream before you put it on, and store it dry in the box it came in. Hand cream collects under the setting, exactly where the light has to pass through, and on coloured stones you notice it sooner because dulling mutes the colour first. A dry, soft toothbrush lifts it out.
Styling
At 15mm with colour in it, this is the piece that gets the attention. Wear it on your free wrist and keep the rest neutral and silver-toned; two coloured pieces side by side end up competing. If you want a set, the matching cross chain in the same width and finish is the logical addition.
