Why Coloured Stones Work Differently From Clear Ones
A clear stone lets almost all the light through and breaks it into flashes. A coloured stone absorbs part of the spectrum and returns the rest, so you see less sparkle but more colour. That is exactly why a green and white design reads more quietly than a fully iced out bracelet, while standing out better from a distance: colour draws the eye where sparkle scatters it.
About the Stones
The green stones are emerald green VVS CZ, so simulated stones in the colour of emerald rather than natural gemstones. That is a deliberate choice: real emerald is brittle and full of inclusions, which makes it poorly suited to a bracelet that meets everything. A cut CZ in the same tone is harder, more even in colour and keeps its sharp facet edges. On top of that, every stone is identical to the next, which natural stone never manages.
The Hidden Clasp
On a bracelet set all the way round, an ordinary lobster interrupts the pattern. The hidden safety clasp disappears into the design, so the row of stones runs unbroken around the whole circumference. When putting it on, always check that the safety catch actually clicks shut; on this type of clasp that is the step people skip.
18 or 21 cm
These two sizes are 3 cm apart, so measuring pays off here more than guessing. Wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone and add 1.5 to 2 cm. A 16 cm wrist sits well on 18 cm, a 19 cm wrist on 21 cm. If you land exactly in between, take the 21 and expect a loose fit; a set bracelet worn tight presses the settings against your skin.
