On a wide curb link, the thickness decides how the chain falls. A thin wide link lies like a band; at 1.6mm this 6mm chain has body, so the cut edges stay visible and the link does not flip over. At this width the chain is the centerpiece, so keep the rest calm: no pendant, and at most one fine chain alongside it at a clearly different length.
