The silver cuban link chain is made from oval links that are twisted and flattened so each one lies smoothly against the next. The base is stainless steel with a silver-tone finish applied in five layers of PVD, and because the steel underneath is the same colour, wear never leaves a lighter patch. The chain that asks nothing of you
This is where silver has a practical edge over gold, and it has nothing to do with taste. PVD bonds the colour to the steel at a molecular level, so it is already harder than ordinary plating, but the real advantage is underneath: the steel is the same colour as the finish. Cuban: flat links that lie against the skin. The most familiar look, and the best base for a pendant because it keeps the pendant facing forward.

Choose your width and length
3MM is refined and layers easily, 5MM is the classic everyday width, and 7MM is the statement worn over a t-shirt. For length, 50cm sits high under a collar, 55cm lands on the collarbones and is the most chosen, and 60cm sits on the chest. With a pendant, 55 to 60 cm places it in the middle of your chest.
The quickest check is to measure a chain you already wear from clasp to clasp. Between two lengths, the longer one gives the more relaxed drape.
Care
Rinse it with lukewarm water when it needs it and dry with a soft cloth, and rinse after sea water or chlorine. No polishing to remember, because no tarnish forms the way it does on sterling silver. A flat link also collects less than a woven one, so this is genuinely the lowest maintenance chain in the range.
