Men's Jewelry
The complete range of men's jewelry in one place: necklaces, bracelets, rings and pendants in silver and gold, from subtle to outspoken.
Starting with one piece
If you do not wear jewelry yet, start with a necklace of 55 to 60 cm (22 to 24in) in a link that appeals to you. That is the least conspicuous starting point and you will find out soon enough whether you want more. A king's link chain or Cuban link are the most popular choices for this.
Combining without overdoing it
The rule of thumb is one striking piece at a time. If you wear a wide chain, keep the bracelet narrower. Stay within one color: mixing gold and silver only works if you do it deliberately and consistently. A signet ring goes with almost anything, because it sits in a different place.
Material
Silver-colored stainless steel is bare, polished steel: no coating that can wear through, the color does not change and no tarnish builds up. That makes it the logical choice for something you wear every day, and you can keep it on in the shower. The gold and rose gold models, and the stone-set pieces on nickel-free copper alloy, carry a five-layer PVD finish: harder than ordinary plating, but still a coating, so take those off before the shower and the gym. 925 sterling silver is a real precious metal, weighs more and has a deeper shine; it tarnishes slowly and a silver cloth removes that. Take every model off before swimming, because chlorine is harsher than shower water.
