Bracelets in Silver and 18K Gold
You wear a bracelet more often than any other piece of jewelry — and it takes the most punishment. In this collection you will find bracelets for men and women in silver and gold, from fine models to heavy link bracelets.
Choose your model
- King's link — densely woven and heavy, does not stretch
- Cuban link — flat, wide links that sit tight around the wrist
- Iced out — set with stones, a clear statement
- Clover — finer and more subtle, easy to combine
- Jubilee — the watch link worn as a bracelet
Torn between models? Our guide to the most popular bracelets for men covers how heavy each link wears and how it looks on the wrist.
The right size
Measure your wrist with a tape measure or a strip of paper, just below the wrist bone, and add 1.5 to 2 cm for a comfortable fit. If you like to wear it looser, allow 2.5 cm extra.
Material
Because a bracelet rubs against sleeves and tabletops, wear matters more here than it does on a necklace. Silver-colored stainless steel is bare, polished steel: there is no coating that can wear through, the color does not change and no tarnish builds up — you can keep those bracelets on in the shower. The gold and rose gold models carry a five-layer PVD finish, harder than ordinary plating but still a coating, so take those off before the shower and the gym. The same goes for the stone-set bracelets on nickel-free copper alloy with PVD. 925 sterling silver is a real precious metal, heavier and with a deeper shine, but it tarnishes slowly and a silver cloth takes that off again. The pool is off for every model, because chlorine is harsher than shower water. None of these materials is proof against scratches: on hard contact steel marks just as readily as silver.
