Why a flat link is the right choice on a wrist

Most bracelets start at 18 or 19 cm, which leaves a slim wrist buying something that slides over the hand. We make this one in 16 cm as well.
To find your size, wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone, measure it, then add 1.5 to 2 cm. A 14 to 15 cm wrist takes the 16, a 16 to 17 cm wrist the 18, and a 18 to 19 cm wrist the 20. Between two sizes, take the larger.

Keeping the gold looking new
The gold color is a finish over stainless steel, and a wrist is the hardest place on the body for a finish: sleeves, desks, keyboards and car doors all make contact through a normal day. Take it off for sport, swimming, showering and manual work, put it on after aftershave and hand cream have dried, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth rather than a polishing cloth.
If you want something with nothing on the surface at all, the same bracelet in silver-tone steel has no coating to protect.
